St. Joe Christmas Tree Farm offers many varieties and sizes of Christmas trees.

Appointments are required for all tree sales.
Pre-cut & Choose and Cut Christmas trees.

No Power Saws – Gas or Battery powered allowed.
Hand saws will be provided.

Precut Christmas tree sales will begin the Saturday before Thanksgiving until our closing date by appointment only.
A Cut Christmas tree will last 21 – 30 days in a heated home with proper care.
Be aware of the days until Christmas before placing it in your home.

Choose & Cut Christmas trees in the fields will open for cutting the day after Thanksgiving by appointment only.

Fir trees grown on our farm.
Fraser Fir and Douglas fir do not grow in clay soil.
We have an extremely small area to grow firs due to the conditions required to grow firs.  

Our best selection for Choose & Cut in our fields are Scotch Pine, White Pine & Norway Spruce.

Whether you wish to cut-your-own or purchase one of our pre-cut Christmas trees,
please look for a colored purchase tag on the tree to denote that it is for sale.

Complimentary tree shaking and tree baling (wrapping) provided.

Christmas Tree Sale Appointments

Appointments are required for all tree sales.

We are offering tree-sales for Pre-cut & Choose and Cut Christmas trees by appointment only.  This helps to alleviate the congestion and frustration of waiting to find that perfect tree for your family.
It has kept St. Joe Road safe from traffic back ups, accidents and mishaps.
We continue to sell the same number of trees.
The appointments allow a more enjoyable and fun Christmas tree buying experience without and hour or more to get their tree baled and paid for.

Not Purchasing a Tree?
No appointment is needed for wreaths, garland, greenery and gift shop only purchases.

If you or someone in your party is feeling ill, PLEASE do not visit the farm.

Reminder: 
A Cut Christmas tree will last 21 – 30 days in a heated home with proper care depending upon the variety of the tree you choose.  Cut trees can be kept in water in an unheated garage or outside out of the wind and sun until you are ready to put up your tree.  Remember to make a fresh cut before putting it in your tree stand inside your home.

Please remember when coming to the farm:

  • Only trees with a tag may be cut out of the fields.
  • Our greeters and employees can help you find the fields that are open for the current year.

Precut Christmas Trees

We pride ourselves in offering quality pre-cut Christmas Trees and strive to keep all of our precut trees as fresh as possible until it is ready for purchase.

Our trees are delivered to our farm several times through the Christmas season.

Tree drilling for particular tree stands is available for trees purchased from our farm is $ 4.00 per tree.

Precut & Ready Cut Tree types include:

  • Scotch Pine (nice selection)
  • White Pine (nice selection)
  • Douglas Fir (nice selection)
  • Korean Fir – (Limited)
  • Fraser Fir – Very Large selection 6′ – 12′ available

Sizes:  Range from tabletops of 3 ft to 12 ft. +

Choose & Cut Christmas Trees in our Field​

Our choose and cut Christmas Trees are the pride of the farm and our employees aim to maintain the best care and conditions for our trees. Beginning mid-October, trees ready for cutting are tagged in the fields.

Please see an example above of what the tags look like.

Not all fields are open.
NOT all trees in each field are tagged.
We work diligently to only tag trees that are healthy and ready for cutting.

Our greeters and employees can help you find the fields that are open for the current year.

Hand saws and tree sleds are provided to cut and carry your tree back from the field. 

 

U-Cut Tree types include:

  • Scotch Pine – Best selection
  • White Pine – Good Selection
  • Canaan Fir – Extremely Limited in the fields
  • Norway Spruce – available in the fields to cut beginning December 1 – Good Selection
  • Blue Spruce – available in fields to cut beginning December 1 – Limited – Nice Selection
  • Fraser Fir – Extremely Limited
  • Painted Scotch Pine in Red or White or Blue (Only a few painted each year)

Sizes:  Range from 6 feet to 12 feet depending upon the type of tree.

Train Rides

Weekends ONLY after Thanksgiving
Our Train Trolley will run beginning the Friday after Thanksgiving and then on Weekends Only, from open to 5:00pm beginning the weekend after Thanksgiving.
The last ride is at 5:00pm SHARP!
Enjoy the beauty God has given us. We hope you enjoy this time outside with your loved ones during this Blessed Season.

Hot Cocoa

 Weekends ONLY after Thanksgiving
Hot Cocoa is served by an employee.
Hot Cocoa is served from the back door of the Greeter Shed.
 Each customer will be served one cup with no refills.

Hot Cocoa will be served:
Friday after Thanksgiving
and 
11:00am – 5:00pm Saturdays and Sundays Only –  only as employees are available to serve.

Painted Christmas Trees

Looking for something a little less traditional in your Christmas tradition this year? St. Joe Christmas Tree Farm offers painted trees! Add some color to Christmas this year with a red, white, blue, or a seasonal colored tree this holiday season!

Potted Living Christmas Trees

We offer 36″ – 48″ Blue Spruce, Norway Spruce, Black Hills Spruce, White Pine & Canaan. They are in limited supply.

Please remember a living Christmas tree needs special care.  We recommend a potted tree not be in a heated home for more than 10 – 14 days.

Tree Delivery Services​

Delivery services are available through a separate entity, Quinn and Sons.

Trees for Troops

St. Joe Christmas Tree Farm is a proud supporter and contributor to the national Trees for Troops Program.  Donation boxes are located in the barn by the hot chocolate and coffee pot and also at the cash registers.
